grease seal?
Hi,
Just wondering if there is a technical name for the 'grease seal' that is used with the wheel bearings. I will be replacing my rotors/pads soon on my 83 300D, so will also be repacking my bearings, and want to replace the grease seals. Plus, Im a bit worried Ill rip them taking them out, so I want to have them. I did a search for them on mercedesshop, but didnt find anything. also tried looking at gaskets, seals, etc., with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Listed as a "wheel seal", front, under suspension parts on Fastlane. $3.44.
You should always replace them any time removed, they are usually bad anyway, and won't survive removal and installation. Peter
