Yeah, I've been wondering the same. I've also noticed that your picture is not loading anymore either.
How's it going?? I'm looking forward to parking our oldies side by side in November. |

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will be really nice when it's done.
I had a guy approach me in the parking lot today, he says "is that an 84 or 85?" He explains he had a gold 190D 2.2, and we talked about them for a few minutes. Before I knew what color it was I asked if it was my color, on the chance that it'd be its original owner. It was pretty cool to actually get some recognition with a 201 190!

Bill:
Went to a collegiate sailing club reunion this weekend, and one of the sailboard type college professors at the lake was driving his 1962 220 -- he's had it all 40 years, bought it new. It's the robins-egg blue, has some rust damage to front fenders (no surprise), but runs and sounds fine! Pretty car, got lots of comments. Still his daily driver, believe it or not! Peter

I may just do that, but I'd also like to bring a running, driving diesel up there too. Maybe JimSmith can come and drive my 240D or the 220D... Do we have a firm date for the Shindig? Is the hall reserved? Leathermang siad he would be doing the planning and all for the Shindig, but I noticed the thread is gone. What's the deal? If he's dropped the plans for that, we need to go ahead and set up something ASAP. |
