Cdi ???????
I have been following this Forum for some time now, but have not seen anything that would explain CDI or TDI, more than the defining the acronym I am looking the principle of operation, I am guessing it has a lot to do with the fuel delivery.
MB and VW sites do no better the sales fluff. Thanks Fareed

CDI stands for (C)ompression ignition (D)irect (I)njection.
TDI stands for (T)urbo (D)irect (I)njection. Hope this helps.
