DABENZ, No problem ... I just wanted to set the record straight for those who come across this problem in the future....I think the problem is that they do not use any hose clamp... they are harder than the stock lines and suspect that is why they don't work in the long run... not enough ' squeeze' back in them.... Even though I was completely ignored with my previous post...

I called the dealer and ordered a meter of the line for 12 bucks. It should be here tomorrow. The tech said replace the lines (he didn't even say OEM stuff was neccissary) and clean it up. Drive it a few days and if diesel appears again, take it in and they will work on it. He even said that it's probably smarter to get the lines replaced with an independant place or do it myself, since it will be way cheaper. They are great up there. Always helpful over the phone.

190D22, I was kind of busy pulling my size 9's out. In order: Yes. Yes if #1 is really no. Easy - pull old straight off and push new straight on. Easy if old seal not stuck. Probably not - check for water in fuel or clogged fuel or air filter first.

Would that be related to this odd idle i've been getting? It's like it's missing when I put it in park or neutral. I have to rev it to go back to normal idle.

It appears the diesel is drying up, but here are pics of what it looks like now. Maybe these pics will do no good... I dunno. Say anything that you notice about what you see in these pics!
