Idle problems 1988 190e 2.3

I am new to forum and absolute novice. Just bought son the 190e and exterior/interior are in almost new condition.
Car runs great except for idle problem. Idles fast in gear and vibration when at rest. I get so many different opinions when I go to foreign mechanics and look on forum. Saw where there were four sensors involved for correct idle. Throttle switch, decel switch, throttle position sensor and speed sensor. Where are these sensors located so that I might check them out.
Thanks in advance for any info.
