motor mount engine bracket

I have an '87 190 TD that has been making some vibrations during extreme turning but otherwise smooth running. While I was attempting to change out the vacuum shut off valve (unsuccessful to date--couldnt get the plastic collar on the electric plug adjacent to the valve, to turn and release the plug) and as I was swearing and looking down into the engine, I noted the driver side motor mount bracket broken. This is the bracket that is on the engine block. It is broken right through the bolt hole. Whaaaaat? I don't see this part advertised on the parts lists. Or is it something that has to be welded?? While you contemplate, how do I get the @#$%#$% collar on the electric plug at the front of the IP to release without breaking it??? Without that removed, I cannot get to the back bolt on the shut off valve.
