Front passenger window

I'm now at college so I don't drive my car every day. Ussually i just drive it on weekends. 2 weeks ago the drivers side window was being very stubborn. I had to jiggle the switch up and down to get it to finally lower. This week, it jsut gave out. I'm almost 100% sure the switch is not the problem becuase I just put a new one in less than 4 months ago although it isn't impossible. Now when I try to put the window down, the dome light dims but nothing happens. It seems like it might be a problem with the motor . hopefully it isn't becuase i would probably have to take it to the shop if this is the case. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.
