1987 SDL note the temp gauge!

Nice bud but note the temp gauge. I have tre of these why do so many of this run above 81C?

That doesn't look good. Mine is an '87 and it has more miles/225k and it doesn't ever go that high.
Bad head gasket, fan clutch, aux fan, etc...

If it's that high, it probably has been very close to overheating before, which means possible engine dammage.
