Master cylinder reservoir leak

Went to bleed out my break fluid on my "85' 240D, with my "Speedy Bleed" and when I put the pressure to the master cylinder I discovered a major leak coming from one of the little rubber, half round, caps on top of the master cylinder. There are two of these rubber caps on the 123 master cylinder reservoir on top of where the wiring comes in and the aft one was split vertically which let break fluid escape. I pulled and pried on it but not being sure what I was doing, thought someone would be able to advise me as to weather this is a reparable part, or do I have to find a new master cylinder reservoir. I tried squeezing it with a small hose clamp but that did not work so any advice would be most helpful. Thanks and a happy "day after tureky day' to all.

They just pop the black rubber off upwards and you pop a new cap on. Got mine at the dealer (cheap). Don't know if they can be sourced elsewhere. Takes longer to open the hood than to do it.

Thanks for that. I didn't want to screw it up by prying on something that wasn't ment to be taken off. I just went out to my shop and poped it off and put on a replacement from my parts car. There were virtical cracks in the replacment one but they didn't go through which worked for the "speedy bleed" and untill I can find new ones.
