Does anybody own a factory paper repair manual for w123?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6032&item=1873920843&rd=1
How many volumes are there? If I spring for this one I'll want to eventually get any others available.
Anybody out there own these? I have a Mac and the Repair CD's available don't work very well on it without running Virtual PC or similar software...

Yes, I have that one, very good, but you need the engine manual also. There is one for transmissions too.

That's Volume 2, whare's Volume 1?

Also, there is a climate control manual, engine manual, electrical troubleshooting manual, and a few other minor ones.

I much prefer these paper manuals, but it takes a stack of manuals nearly a foot high to make up a full set for a 123.

I find the CD ROM manual is a convenient place to rest my coffee cup while consulting my paper manuals.

I have had good luck finding MB manuals at tcmpubl.com (They ain't cheap though).

One should pick up these manuals when they can find them, since they are no longer being printed.

Well, I got it...

61.00 but I'm guessing the hassle it will save me in executing my own repairs will pay for itself over and over.
So there is a volume 1 and what else?

I have them.. For the 123 you need 2 Volumes for the Body.. An Engine Manual..... An Heat and AC Manual and the Trans manual.. Also there is a service manual.. Telling you what services to do on different cars at what times.. and showing how to do the services.. Volume 2 is things like windows.. seat belts .. dash stuff.. sun roof.. ect..

Could Ken or someone with the "service manual" tell me a little about it? Is it worth it? I have the engine manual and one body manual. the "service manual"sounds like it may be a worth while addition devoted to only mantaince, but more than how to do the "no brainer stuff" ,check the oil, tires etc..?

3 for $90

I got three manuals; chassis #'s 1 and 2 and the engine manual for ninety dollars off of E-bay. I think there are two or three more that cover the transmissions and climate control. They are great to have but very technical and of course refer only to MB sevice tools.

I have two Maintance manuals.. One is missing the front cover and I do not have the number but its just an update from the first which covers cars from 72 thru the 123 cars.. That is the 115.. 123.. 116..114..108..109... 100.. 111..113.. 107..

MB number was KD 00 113 2601 63 - 483 3.0

It list all the cars and what miles to do what maintance.. Shows pics of how to do it.. and the specs.. Kind of nice to have... Its one of the things I miss about the newer cars.. I use them on my cars and go thru the whole list each spring.. Keeps them in shape..

Try this link

I haven't tried these guys but for a 1-800 call it might be worth a shot.

I have 3 of the paper manuals for my 300D and together with the Haynes manual, they are the way to go.
