Runs fine...runs a lil rough...huh?

Hi,

I seems that one the car has warmed up and been driven for 20 min or so it runs real smooth and quiet..then, ofter maybe 40 min it seems a bit rougher. Little tappy or rattle....chugging along not as smooth..I am thinking an oil change, filter changes, and valve adjustment...but why would it be smooth and then go not so smooth? Thoughts?

Thanks,
-Kurt

Good idea to eliminate all that stuff first. I just did my valves for the first time (first time I did it anyway). They were all just a little tight. Seems to be a bit smoother but not that big a difference. Maybe the mileage wil improve too. Anyway, try that stuff first, it sure won't hurt and doesn't cost that much if you do it yourself.
