ACC control unit recall
1985 300TDT. Not sure if this post was submitted to proper forum. There a was an open "campaign" on trap oxidizer. Dealer changed trap and turbo - great! Now I see "campaign" on ACC control unit, does this mean that dealer will change thsi as well? Has anyone seen this?

Craig - Alldata website. If you do a search on MB recalls, you get this list.

That TBS was dated '91 and didn't say what the problem was. I know my CD has had no fewer than 3 pushbuttons since new, that last one two years ago, is now broken.

Craig - thanks for the reply, I still do not know what this listing means? Are you saying that your switches were replaced by MB at no cost?

What I meant is that any issues covered by the factory would have long since passed.

Thanks Craig - you're right about it be long since passed. It's just that this item was in a (short 3 items - "campaign") list, while the other "general" recall items was extremely long, and last year when I first saw the trap oxidizer replacement - it was alone in that "campaign" list.
