1983 240d Vacuum locks

Guys and gals,

My 1983 240 D is running like a champ albeit slowly.

There are only 2 issues that I have to deal with:

The front passenger door lock does not come up or go doen with the others. It did a few weeks ago and suddenly stopped.

The cruise control does not work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I strongly suspect that the passenger door diaphragm is leaking. Pull the door panel and check it with a vacuum source to verify that it is leaking, then purchase a new vacuum lock unit.
