Question fuel filter repacement 1998 e300td

Any thing special I need to know to replace the fuel filter on an 1998 E300TD?

If you replace the pre-filter, be sure to buy a new rubber o-ring for it, it's not included, and if you don't put one on (either the old one or a new one) it won't let the new main filter get fuel, it'll suck air. Fill the new main filter with fuel before installing it.
Use the new o-rings for the bolt, they will be included with the main filter. You'll have one or 2 extra o-rings, because the earlier 606 engines had a few more o-rings and the filter kit works for all 606's. I'd recommend doing the pre filter and main filter.

How do you know which OM606's needed how many o-rings on the full flow filter bolt?

You only need use the one o-ring, and its the larger of the two.
