A bad ground on the rear window defroster and the antenna amplifier was causing the problem with my radio going out when the defroster was turned on. No parts, but it was not covered by the Starmark warranty, so it I had to pay the labor for diagnosing. Apparently the fix took a few minutes. I think I am getting to know the limits of the Starmark warranty and it will get me more familiar with the car. I will keep my digital camera ready. Jim

Seat frame replacement

Barkford,
When you did the seat frame replacement in your W210 did that also require the special bolts or does the new seat frame take care of the root cause without also going to the oversize special bolts?
Thanks,
Ken

You will have to get signed into this forum to check out the info, but this link may show you how to complete it. Sounds fairly simple, less than 20 minute fix per seat, without changing the seat frames?

Have not done it, don't have the problem yet myself.

As always, sorry to send you off this forum, but I flag whatever I think may be useful for me in the future.

seat frame

Let me talk to my service tech on this. I actually got it covered
on warranty (previously Starmark) and will see if my technician remembers
the parts.
