123 Police Version?

Anyone ever seen a police version 123 sedan? While trying to answer a readers question I got side tracked on spring/shock combinations and the manuals elude to police version sedans/wagons? They must have used performance components. The springs look the same but the front shock on the police version (123 323 18 00) or (123 323 28 00) is not the same as civilian cars (123 323 17 00, 123 323 25 00, 123 323 27 00). Whats the difference?

Eberhard Weilke has 230E that was a former unmarked police car, you might want to try and ask him. He seems to know a lot about them.
