replacment diaphrams for vaccuum locks on w123

Hello,
does anyone know where to get diaphram kits ?
my mechanic showed me a set, but when we called M-B we were told that they were no longer sold and that you had to buy the entire actuator. (~$30.00) Even Tom Hanson says that you must buy the whole unit. The car is a 1985 300td, and the locks no longer lock centrally. This is ok, but the leaking unit is taking the system down somewhat, affecting shifting, turbo wastegate too I think. Anybody ever heard of these kits??
thank you
