0-60 18sec-from 30sec NEXT?

Changed fuel filters, air filter, cleaned all banjo bolts and bypassed crossover valve, went from 30 sec to 18 sec 0-60. Adjusted alda ccw 1 turn, no increase in performance. Accelerator linkage feels mushy (play), is there a way to check for full travel. thanks
