Thumbs up

P.E.H. - I 'm hesitating, because at this point, I would have to destroy a good gp to get to the bushing. But I'm considering it. I can see how it would have been the easiest way to resolve the changeover prob. Thanks, James

300D Engine started, lots, grey/white smoke

I have started the engine finally, after readjusting the ip, and priming. There is a lot of grey/white smoke, and it cuts off in idle and while driving. I checked the modulator valve, and found it leaking pressure. How do you adjust a new modulator valve's internal pressure setting, and to what. I understand that there is an adjustment that is explained in the Workshop Manual that must be done before vehicle is driven, to avoid damage. Is there anything else to check on with this smoke. Thanks James (1980 300D M)
