My '99 E300 turbodiesel is going in on Monday, 4/14 for its 100k mile service by my independent, expert mechanic. I started doing business with him a while back when the local dealership service appointment lead time went to 12 weeks !

The car has 99,500 miles on it and my extended premium MBUSA warranty is good to 100k. Any recommendations on things to check in addition to "normal" 100k mile service requirements ? There are no apparent problems. All seems well.

Whatever my mechanic finds in addition to the routine maintenance will be referred to the dealer service dept. Thanks for the suggestions!

100K service?

I guess I must still be in the dark with all the oldies we work on at my workshop. As far as I know, the major is at 90K, not 100K.

Unless that 100K thing is meant as an FSS service?
