Coolant Sys. question.. is this MB car?

Is this tube that is cut, crimped, and welded, A part from a 617 car or from the Unimog the 617 was put into.? I have asked the same questions of the Mog world.

If from a 617 car. what was cut off?

Is that an air intake line?

My guess would be that it's a part of the Mog; I don't recall seeing anything like that on my 617...

Air intake
Noppers. Its from the true radiator to the upper coolant tank in the cab.

Tubing??

coachgeo,

That tube is definitely from a gas Mog 404 setup and the guy that installed your turbo diesel just whacked it off.

yeah I know he whacked it off. but what got whacked off? oh well not that important. I might use this to add another heater for the cab eventually.
