Window switch removal

I rolled the rear passenger window half way down this morning on my '82 300SD but it would not subsequently roll up. I was able to get it to roll the rest of the way down but now I am stuck with it that way. No unusaul noises from the motor when I try to roll it up. All the other windows work and no fuses blown. I am guessing the switch is either bad or dirty. Does anyone know how to remove this switch from the console? When I depress the switch in either direction, I see some indents exposed in the corners of the portion that is sticking up. Are these somehow used to pry the switch out? I would like to avoid cracking the wood on the console more than it already is.

Thanks for any advice on how to gets these out.
