oil filter stem o-rings?

Does anyone have the part# for the two small o-rings at the base of the oil filter stem? I can't find them listed @ fastlane. Thanks!

Not sure what Phil's price is. I'd call him to find out.

Rusty Cullens 1-800-741-5252 sells them in packs of 10 for $1.50.

HTH,

(edited to fix part numer)

Fastlane lists this part as a "oil sender o-ring". Is this what I want? I'm looking for the small o-rings at the base of the oil filter stem, for an 83' 300D.

That's the part I ordered, but the -rings seem way too large. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place?

Where are you looking?

How wide are the O-rings you have?

Its possible that you received the wrong part.

i just ordered the same part and they do indeed look too large.
they're about the diameter of somewhere between a penny and a nickel, and if they're the right part, it looks like they'd have to
be looped over a couple times, which doesn't make much sense to me.

Where are ya'll ordering them from?

Maybe fastlane is supplying the incorrect part.

Rusty Cullens sells these for 15 cents/each and I believe he mails them USPS. For ~ $1.90 you'll have enough for a long, long time.

015 997 94 48 is the part # in the EPC, On Rusty's site that crosses to part A6001-28059, oil filter o-ring , 2 per car, $0.67 each. Looks like the right part # to me.

Hi all,

I'm not trying to push Rusty when Phil offers this excellent site for information. However, I would like to point out that if you CALL Rusty (instead of using his Worldpac website) you WILL get a better deal. At last check they are 15 cents/each if you use the telephone. He actually gets more profit if you call because he doesn't have to pay a cut to Worldpac for the sale.

HTH,

it looks like these are the wrong parts. i'm thinking they're
o-rings for the oil pump although phil indicates it's the right
part number. he says they're probably tagged wrong in the
warehouse.
