Replacing the radiator and water pump for '84 300D and of course want to get all the old coolant out possible. The Haynes manual says to drain the engine block via the plug on the right side of the engine. Well, that's all they had to say about that. Can anybody tell me specifically where this block drain is so that I'm not needlessly disassembling the motor from underneath?
