oil - $60/quart

to maintain warranty on new ferrari, one must use a shell product 10w - 60, obviously synthetic, at $60 for the quart. a 12 quart sump, we be talking $720 + for an oil change. source: car and driver (?).

If you have to ask the price, you can't afford a new Ferrari.

I thought Ferraris used Agip as their oil... Perhaps things have changed.

I recently read that article. This oil is for the Ferrari Enzo - not all Ferraris

The same article mentions that for the Enzo a set of brakes are $6K and rotors are $24k (carbon ceramic). Oh well...I guess I'll just have to stick to Lamborghini - ya right!

60 bucks a quart for oil sounds cheap if you just bought a couple of 600 hundred dollar bottles of wine to have with dinner........
