115 shift point adjustment

Have done some searching but find most everything relates to 123's and modulator valves, neither of which I have.

So, I think it shifts too early, then the engine rpms drop really low after the shift and it feels like it is lugging. I want to increase the rpm point of the shift and get a more Positive shift.
Is it possible to get that combo?
Where do I adjust lenght of the rod and which way do I adjust?
Do I adjust the rod at the engine connection or down at the tranny?
Thanks much.
