Mileage Award Badge Placement
Is there a preferable place on the grill to mount your 250K KM mileage award? Looking at the mounting hardware, you can probably place it anywhere. Is there a more "proper" quadrant to target? I want to be fashionable with my new badge!
![]() For those wondering - It took less than a month to call for the application to when I received the certificate and badge. Best of all it was 100% FREE - just a trip to the dealer. That is one of the best bargains from Mercedes in a looonnnggg time.

There is no "proper" place for it, but I find it looks best when placed on the lower left-hand side of the grill (Drivers).
There are little plastic "nubs" behind the grey, grill insert. Be sure not to mount over one of these nubs..... It won't mount very well. |

I think that mounting location's more a matter of personal taste than anything else. I've got mine on the far driver's side of the grille, about halfway up. When I qualify for the 500KM badge, I'll put it at the same height on the passenger's side.

I placed mine on the driver's side between the first and second horizontal grille strips, balancing it on the passenger's side with an MBCA badge.
The latter will be removed when I hit 500,000km and get the second MB badge! I'm only at ~320km so far. |
