Poll: Change timing chain on MB diesel cars.

Dear friends

I just wonder how many people in these forums have tried to change timing chains in their MB diesel cars (especially 240D, 300D, 300SD) and how long it took them to finish the job. The mileage thresholds are:

1) After 150 Kmiles

2) After 200 Kmiles

3) After 250 Kmiles

4) After 300 Kmies

Thanks for your information!

Best regards,

Eric

When stretch exceeds 8 degrees. Should be checked every 30,000 miles.
