New Baby
The bug bit. I bought Holson_Adi's 300CD last week. Now I have two 83's, a sedan and the new coupe. The new car is in very excellent shape, Holson took good care of it and repaired and maintained it perfectly. Got it registered today and drove it around a bit. Are the coupe's noticably quicker than the sedans? This coupe seems to scoot pretty nice even right from the first; whereas the sedan needs a bit of a warm-up period prior to getting some getup and go. Anyway, I've gone from a three Mazda family to a two Mercedes (actually three but the old one is a summer car only) and one remaining Mazda household. Really starting to like these old 617 diesels.

Very Cool:
Looked like it went on ebay for pretty affordable. Was that you? Or did you guys make a private deal? Anyway, congrats! I have multiple diesels and it sure makes everything easier to keep them all the same. Other than people thinking you're wacked. But then again, I enjoy having extra cash cuz I'm not spending it all on new cars. Don

Nope, no special deal cut. Bought it through the e-bay process. Very nice car, good ride, lots of power. Very little work needed for perfection. The kicker was delivery since essentially there was no arrangements to be made. Holson drove it to my house, I drove him back. I like having multiple copys of cars around so I have one to look at when I can't figure out how to put together what I took apart on the other :-)
