OK, anybody know what the difference is in the instrument cluster of an 85 300D and that of any other year (82-84)? I'm guessing the speedo is different which is fine because that's not the part I need. The salvage yards say the 85 is different is why I ask.

I believe the later cars have a different tach setup. I'm not sure when there was a switch but as I recall it was in either '84 or '85.

I need the oil, fuel, and water gauge part. My oil gauge leaks and needs to be replaced. Let me know if you have one you would part with and how much you want for it.

If it's just a different tach then about any year will do I guess since my tach is fine.
