300SD...after the crash..

Just found this in my files. I never let you guys see the damage that totaled my 1st car.

Actually my 2nd. My dad has the 240 now.

This was caused by a Nissan Altima I think, going about 50(didn't see him, daydreaming). You should see his car. I think it's being recycled as I type.

At least I made it out alive to buy the 300SDl. I'll pay more attention now.

Wow, that really did take quite the hit! I sure hope you enjoy your "new" 300SDL! I'd be curious to see what the Altima really did look like! Too bad you had to lose such a nice 300SD though!

The Altima looked a lot worse. THe entire front end collapsed(crumple zones? it looked like an elephant sat on it. Luckily the kid was ok, was walking around fine for 30 minutes afterward.
Mysteriously, his parents showed up and he all of a sudden lost his balance, bad headaches, and leg pain, hmmmmmm

Here,

Here's the car that hit it. A Caprice, I think.

What do you suppose the speed of impact was?

Kuwait Reminiscing

If you've ever driven in Kuwait, you'd not be surprised by this accident. Some of the most challenging driving I've ever done, except maybe Korea (and I hear Italy and Spain are, as well)!

Many of the drivers I've encountered there use the braile method and stop changing lanes when the metal on metal gets too loud! Or how about a Kuwait female in full cover, including the gold mesh eye covering merging onto the "freeway." The drivers there are like video gamers, your car only exists when it is in the windshield!

Happy Motoring

RBM

Ah, right! If the Caprice hit the Benz, it wouldn't be recognizable. :p
