HD's for $$'s or Comforts for less???
Am at this point in the assy and can only afford one shock at a time (won't be driving for a while anyway), but I can get a SET of Bilstein comforts for $102 from **************, or pay ~$70 EACH for the HD's.
Really WANT the HD's, but.... Yes, I did a seach of everyone's opinion on both, read posts till I was blue. Problem is, would like opinions from those who have tried BOTH on a 123/turbo. Is it worth waiting and buying the HD's one at a time, or save my $'s and get the comforts for $102/set (~$50/each)? Firm ride is what I'd like, can't stand a cadillac ride.

Sorry, can't comment on both BUT.... The HD's have broken in nicely after a few thousand miles. They were kinda harsh at first but now they are nice and firm yet retaining an excellent ride. The wife even commented on how well they have broken in. I paid $56/ea and $63/ea (in think) for the front/rear from a local import part house. Best price I could find. RT
