really interesting site....

this site proves that our early 80's diesels rule. it is a rant and rave site. check out the section for M-class and SLK-class cars. It is almost funny yet I feel sorry for those folks. read on fellow Diesel Diehards!

What an unbalanced site. Plenty of posts but no dialogue. I wonder if these owners ever got their problems fixed.
Frustrating!

I got a kick out of one complaint where the person experienced simultaneous failure of the brakes and the car went to full throttle..... sound familiar?.... (hint - Audi, 1987). She said the car eventually hit a tree and the rear wheels were spinning until the car was shut off!

Informative

Seems certain cars have head problems and others have rod problems in the 300sd/sdl catagory. If I were shopping I would look for one that had these problems already resolved.
