The "What types of manuals to get?" thread got me thinking about if there is any way to get a factory automatic transmission manual for my 300D. I've heard there is one but no one I've talked to seems to know where to get it. I've tried to do a search within the forum to see if this has been brought up before but I had no luck. Too much junk came up.
I have the ATSG manual but I'm always looking for better books.

I suggest you try "Hemmings Motor News" or e-bay.
I've been looking for awhile and have yet to get one. Are you going to rebuild your own tranny when it dies ?

Yeah, I'd give it a shot since I would probably have to scrap the car if the tranny gave out. I really wouldn't have that much to lose if I tried to rebuild it. The local tranny shops would want way too much to rebuilt it, about as much as I paid for the car.
