I've added lost of stock parts to get my car in better shape.

As far as aftermaret upgrades: Turbo engine, custom intake and exhaust, Air/water Intercooler, euro lights, various grill badges, "brake light mod", CD player, custom short shift knob, and Boost and EGT gauges.

Dichroic coatings work by reflecting certain colors while allowing others to pass, while regular filters work by absorbing certain colors and passing others. Dichroic lamps have a blueish color while off, but glow orange like a normal turn signal lamp. Think about it this way: the filament is producing white light (all colors). Basically, the dichroic filter reflects the blue portion of the spectrum, leaving orange. Outside the lamp, the ambient light (white) is hitting the lamp. The dichroic coating reflects the blue back out (what you see), while letting the orange light pass into the lamp. On a normal orange lamp, the blue just gets absorbed in the coating, so all you see is orange.

Normal orange turn signal lamps look orange when off, and in my opinion don't look as classy in clear corner lenses. So I went with the Silverstars that don't look orange when off.

Now back to your regularly scheduled MercedesShop.com program...

Hahahaha... it's pretty funny what some folks consider upgrades! A cupholder? New filters?
