Switchover valves...
Ok, when you remove the plastic cover from the box on the top of the valve cover you find a bunch of short hoses all bent... they work together with two items called switchover valves.
I've attached a picture of the system... the two items are marked as "5" -- I can't seem to find the RIGHT part number for these... If anyone knows it, or where I can find it... thanks, Pete |

I left my laptop at work so I can't give you a number right now but I can give you their proper name. They are vacuum microswitches. The term switchover valve refers to a vacuum switch that is electrical solenoid operated. Such as the one that is involved with overboost protection on turbos.

It is called a 3/2 way valve and can be bought from fastlane. The SKU is D3013-12188 and is about 35 bucks or so.
Type "vacuum valve" under search at fastlane and you will find it. Have fun, Adam |
