Finished Repainting Gauge Needles DIY Page. Poll about these announcements.
Howdy,
I finished up the repainting dash needle page but was wondering what the general conscensus is about me posting pages like this. The only problem with the third option is that it'd fall further and futher behind unless you used precise wording.

Your choices are a little confusing. The last one, excellent everything is fine...does that mean the same as choice 2. if so, leave it like that
Each mod should have a link with a post. And post one teaser picture to go with your link.

Great idea austin.
The first four options refer to creating announcements such as this one, the last two options refer to the titles on my DIY homepage.

Hi Guys
when i installed my white gauges i pulled my needles off to put on the faces and then to clean and spray the needles...they are on a conic tapper much like a tierod end...we marked the eddy current to the speedo housing to the needle shaft...the other gauges were marked and set...everything is still working/reading fine two years latter. i would suggest staking your odometer drive gear (drill on a angle the brass gear and press/tap a keeper) to the shaft as it is just a press fit from the factory...mine was not spinning when i bought it. -Jake |

seperate threads
Keep up the good work!!!
Yes, Do seperate thread announcements for each project. Less to search thru when you do a search of the archives for a specific thing. Also new threads remind us to get off our arses and get to work. :p as to how well your web page looks and is organized... I cant tell. It crashed on me.

Good fact to know if my odometer ever quits, thanks BF_JC.
Really? Does it do that often? Any errors come up? Does it just time out? For me it always loads instantly, while I've had problems with my email server at moments in the past I've never seen my site not load.

I voted for both 2 and 3. A single thread with all your announcements would be good because people could subscribe to that thread and then be automatically notified through Mercedesshop when you make a new announcement.
Then add a separate thread for each new page to catch the rest of the people and contain discussion about the new topic in case people have questions or comments.
