What a great thread!

Sadie 2 refused to shut off last night so I hit the manual shutoff switch in the dark, worried about a difficult repair.

This morning I found the forum, found this thread, opened the hood, and discovered the vaccum hose had pulled off the shutoff valve. Turns out, there was no slack in the hose coming out of the bundle, so I suspect normal vibration slowly inched it off the valve.

I got a little slack in the hose, reattached it and all is well.
