Brake disk & pads 300d- will fit 300SD?

trying this again, I looked at fastlane part #'s butttt... still not sure

Will brake disk for a 1983 300D fit a 1985 300SD. What about brake pads?

Thanx in advance

The pads are the same, but the discs are not. The discs for the SD are vented, so therefore they are wider and wont fit. The D's are not vented and are thinner.

I believe the rears are the same (they fit a LOT of stuff) however the front, as said, are vented. Are the 300D's vented? If not..sounds like you are outta luck.

But at ~25 bucks for two brand new rear disks...why would you swap (I just replaced mine)
The fronts are also reasonably priced I believe.

Just bought discs for my sd - not vented

I just bought new ATE OE equipment rotor discs. They are not vented for an SD. Yes the pads will interchange. They are the same exact pads. I just did my rear brakes on a 1982 300sd.
