best/worst diesel fuel in portland, oregon?

Hi folks-

Can anyone recommend the cleanest diesel stations around Portland, Oregon? Anyone have any experience with the B20 pump that Albina has at the Tesoro station?

Thanks!

Not sure about the Albina fuel you mentioned nor how 'clean' of fuel you are looking for. Look at places that do a lot of diesel business. I think the closer to the downtown area you find lesser sales than the arterial areas that see more traffic from the larger trucks. Lesser sales mean the fuel sits in the underground tanks longer. A couple good examples I can think of are the Shell station out Hwy 30 towards Sauvies Island. Flying 'J' truck stop along I84 in Troutdale, serveral truck stops along I5 southbound and Jubitz to the north.

South too...

There's another truck stop down at teh 205/405/I5 junction there too.
I usually hit the ones on 84 at exit 17...

Bon,

To me the best Diesel fuel is the one with the lowest price and visa versa.

I can't tell any difference in any of the different Diesel Fuels. I have used fuel oil that was over 10 years old and ran the engine just as well a fresh stuff. Onlike gasoline, Diesel fuel doesn't deteriorate.

I've been informed by many different sources that all diesel fuel in the Portland Metro area comes from the same supplier on Swan Island. Your best bet is to get it from the station with the lowest price. Who cares if the station is dirty? You can't pump your own fuel anyway.
Check out http://www.gaspricewatch.com/USGas_index.asp for the lowest price in your area.

It's not necessarily cheaper across the river in Washington anymore!

Unhappy No recent GPW updates in PDX

As of 7:52 PM PST there aren't any prices updated in GasPriceWatch in the PDX area.
Portlanders seem to be more concerned with other things than worry about the price of fuel.
