I think the Newbie has a good idea. It would certainly help to keep ME out of trouble, if that's possible.

I don't think they are popular.. I think people are compelled to state their opinion to keep others from thinking that what has already been posted is the gospel......
The real problem is that so much of it is pure speculation. Very few really have comparisons which would hold up in scientific communities ( read anecdotal ).... so I just stick with what the MB factory recommends... Delo 400.

Delo is the best dino oil. 3k mile changes are the best.

Yes I know I'm a newbie, but not one looking for oil advice at least...

Oh, and for the record, all I've ever put in mine is Delo 400.
