NICE 4-speed 240D on e-bay
this thing looks pretty sweet. 4-speed, appears to be euro spec, or might just have the lights. tobacco interior. id grab this thing quick if i were in CA. has anybody looked at this thing?

"82 240d
I have virtually the same looking car an "81. No way near as nice. There must of been big changes to engine compartment between "81 to"82. Like what's that round black thing in front of air cleaner? What's that device up and behind the power steering pump? Looks like every engine compartment that I've seen set up for automatics.
Beautiful detail job on car.

No, the engine compartment looks identical to my 82 240D. The black thing is some kind of smog-reduction device (don't know what). The thing behind the PS pump is the cruise control.

Buyer Beware
Be careful, I've had dealings with these people, their descriptions are not always completely true. For instance, in this ad they say the car has no rust, but if you look carefully at the pictures it looks like theres rust on the firewall. Thats not to say it not a great car but inspect it first before buying
