603.xxx question ('87 sdl)
Hi,
what size hose do I need to fit the barbs on the fuel filter housing? ('87 300SDL) I thought 5/16, but I think I'm getting air in the system with this line... help! Thanks!! Kevin

yeah, but that doesn't help me fit a barb at the other end. plus fastlane wasnt working when I just tried it... is it that fun metric size between 1/4 and 5/16? someone has to know!

If you mean the hose barbs that go to the injectors, aka the return lines; I used the cloth reinforced stuff from Fastlane. For the rest of it I used 5/16 Goodyear hose with no problems. I just ran out to the car and checked it is 5/16 or 7.9mm, no leaks the new hoses have been there for 500 miles. Fuel hose is fuel hose.
