What was the last production month for the W123
I recently bought a 1985 300D Turbo. The date of manufacture stamped on the plate is 5/85. I would think this is close to the end of the run for the W123. Can anyone tell me the official production end date for this "perpetual model"?

The last W123 300DT was manufactured in 8/85. And on an interesting note, these W123 wagon models (200T, 230TE, 280TE, 240TD, 300TD, 300TDT) were manufactured until 1/86.

H-town:
Thank you for the info. I saw somewhere that there were over 3.4 million W123s produced. I had no idea the production number was so great since they were fairly uncommon in the Midwest (where I grew up). This was a world car, though, and it seemed to sell well in California, Texas, and Florida. . .which makes sense. . .these states have a greater concentration of wealth.
