Thumbs down In the UK, U-PAY

Is anyone aware here in the good ole USA what the price of fuel is in other countries?

I just learned that DIESEL in the UK is about $8.70 per gallon!

That's almost nine bucks! Unimaginable!!!

Anyone else know what the rest of the world is paying?

In the Philippines the diesel here is about 18.98 pesos/liter (given the conversion of $1=58 pesos).. that roughly translate to about 32 cents per liter.. just convert to gallons if you want.. ehehee

Just got back from Italy last night. Diesel was in the range of 95 Euro cents/liter. That's about $4.50/gallon. Regular gas was about the same, premium was Euro 1.15/liter.

How much is vegetable oil at different places? I heard in America it's $3.80 a gallon -- too much for Americans, but perhaps an attractive price for Europeans.

Keep in mind most places buy crude the same as we do....and pay the same amount.....the variences in prices is mostly huge amounts of taxes that get slapped on it.
