I've sprung a leak, evaporator drain hose...

'80 300TD. I got the car 3 weeks ago, and when I replaced the drivers seat, I noticed the driver side floor was soaked. I dried out the carpet and floor area and just chalked it up to either leaking from rain or when seller washed it (door weatherstripping is bad). Well, since I have been working with my AC wiring the last few days, I noticed the carpet is soaked again on the drivers side. Real wet. Problem is, it hasn't rained since I've had it, and I haven't washed where the paint used to be. It is clear liquid, not antifreeze. I guess it must be condensation from when AC worked a couple of days ago. I'm attaching a picture of where I think it is coming from. In between dash and firewall, just above hump is a "nozzle" surrounded by foam coming out of a black housing. Could someone tell me what is going on, and what I need to do to correct this.
Thanks much!
Jimmy
