4 Speed Transmission

I am kind of uncertain about the transmission in my W123. It is the aluminum transmission in my '83 240D. My uncertainty is I'm not for sure the make of the transmission. That is whether it is a Mercedes Benz transmission or not?? I am concerned on finding parts to do a build on it. I have the top 2 bolts left to remove before letting it out.
