It all depends on how much extra wall space you have.... and how strongly your walls are constructed....
An engine will need something more than molybolts to install on the wall....

Let me guess at what your major was in college... " Museum Display" ?

so you're 16, and drive one the biggest baddest diesel cars in existence. what's not to like?

some old parts could look good as sculpture in the garden.. and you can put lights on 'em for xmas!

I have a grill hanging on the wall, with headlights suspended on each side; it looks like a car is beginning to morph through the wall. Comin' at ya. Awesome.

Next I'm going to wire lights to them...

Use MB parts as Christmas tree ornaments. The hood star would be perfect on top of the tree.

A friend of mine took a piston/conrod assembly, cleaned it up, made the underside of the piston completely watertight, and gave it to his girlfriend as a flower vase.

I've got a piston/conrod assembly from a Chevy Corvair (from the same friend) sitting on my desk, along with two intake valves from a Cummins 1710 (12 cylinder version of the 855 ci NTC)

I used to keep a nicely polished piston from a Cummins diesel truck engine on my shelf. It was as big as a coffee can!

I have a grille from a 190E (which was a gift from a friend) and a set of hubcaps from a 77 300D. They hang on the walls in my bedroom.

the coffee table rocks!!!

at work I've got an old outboard carburettor for a pencil holder, but no MB parts yet... 'yet' being the operative.
