Do I need a puller to get a fan clutch off? (601)

I am trying to replace my brotehr's water pump and idler pulley bracket. I can't get the fan clutch off though! I got the 13mm (?) off the center, but it won't pull off. There are 3 bolt holes in the fan, are those for pulling or am I suppose to take off the 8mm (?) nuts that I can barely see behind the w/pump pulley?
Thanks
David

No, just pull.

If it has never been off, it is possible that the pump axle and the fan have rusted such that removal is difficult. For example, mine has been off a number of times, so it is easy to do.

You do not need to remove the 8mm bolts to pull it off.
