All I can say is,

I'm happy they don't make older cars meet the newer, "better" standards.

I'm also happy I don't have a "Ceramic Honeycomb Region".

At least the government realizes the value of diesels when it comes to fuel economy. Building gasoline-electric hybrids never made much sense to me since you can have much better fuel economy with diesel-electric hybrids.

isnt that thing the same as the trap oxidizers they put in the CA cars a while back in the 80's? theyre passing it off as if its some new miraculous breakthrough.
